A vast dam holds good amount of Mahseer, snake head and some other spices.. Good rooms are available through Govt. Regional water sports center. I was there for water sports activity.. and found that place good for fishing too.. A full day fishing will cost below Rs. 100/-.. Local anglers use spoons and spinner to catch fish. More over .. a beautiful place..

Hello everyone, I am planning to visit Pong dam for angling, can you please share more information about how to reach there and about some accommodation options. I am planning to book an Himachal Pradesh fishries department's guest house(anglers lodge) I may get the booking if I am lucky, if not do we have any good accommodation options around the place.
Also please advise if pong dam offers water sports also in case if I take my family along.

And if you have numbers of any local angler who can guide me with the booking and stuff.

Thank you
Jay.
