caught this from a lake in Dimapur...... can anyone ID this fish?

Looks exactly like the tinfoil barb i have in my tank sans the reddish coloration of the fins and black botch on the dorsal fin.does it have barbells(feeler projections on the front)?

I think this is Japani puti (Local name in West Bengal)...

IMO this is what was known as Puntius (Barbodes) daruphani and currently Hypsibarbus wetmorei aka Lemon Fin Barb.

This is a fish native to Thailand and Malaysia which was introduced by the Fisheries Department in eastern India States. Presently not being cultured that extensively.

As rightly pointed out by Sandip locally sold in wet markets in West Bengal as "japani puti" :-)
