S.T: = Use these baits only in bengal's fishermens.. bcoz jhoopies are not allowded for Anglers as its causes harmful to fishes..

In west bengal Bighead carps can take bait almost every season... but silver carp take baits in most winter season and at early morning and after 4 pm..

so in a bengals pass lake (for bengals only because Jhoopies enabled) use some lappings ground bait and make a special laddu bait for bighead or silver carp catching..

Groundbait:

Roasted Musterd oil cake with garlic & Coconut oil (Rasun Khoil in Bengal)
Hadia
Sweet shops Ghad
Corn Sattu
narkel Pocha (good quality with solid oils)

make a thic paste and apply several time after to after 30 mint...

Chatu Laddu:

Corn Chatu + Chana Chatu + Roasted -Ghee-Masala Chatu (1:1:1)
hadia
Govindavog Rice polao
Sweet Shops Ghad
Narkel Pocha (just 1/2 tbsp)
ghee
Coconut oil (this is the important for this two fish types)

Use Makhan Ghad for Lapping and narkel pocha dips.. and use only fine thik big hooks jhoopies (s.w. = Using jhoopies is harmful for fishes) and low weight.... your line should be about 0.20 to 0.30mm base..

N.B: Do not use polao too much for groundbaiting... some best weapon for any bengals angler is polao.. apply it for as much possible in hookbait only... do not shown your main weapon at first... see the fish behavour and bait taking on that day... and use ur weapons one by one... when fishes takes baits stops groundbaitig and never apply any other formula... when the formula has not works anymore then change littlebit...

using ants eggs is not necessory for bighead and silver carps .... if u wish u can use ....

Well this place soon would become a Fish Bakery rather a literally Bait and tackle discussion for ANGLERS.

I thought this place was to discuss the type of lures(baits) and tackle(Fishing Rod, Reels, Lines, snaps) that are to be used to hook a fish and enjoy the fight.

@ Ezik..

Hey i think trying for a good bait is very good for any true Angler... Just shouldnot stuck only rod-Reel-line and lures... and of course not for all but all passioned Anglers always try to make their baits different and best....

and yes please share some of those lures for catch a monster even a 1 inch size Catla man....

most of the Indian carps need some good baits to hooked up..... and bengal anglers tradition is allways experimenting with their baits.... and i think its a good habit of any True-Angler...
