This was in a Friend's well at Kadra. Just a single specimen, was caught as a Juvenile, and raised. It had beautiful blue coloration along the fins. will try and post a video of it.

Here's a video of the diplogramma. Ignore the Background music, I'm not that creative. :)

Thanks for the Info Bro....

had started a tread earlier about the same when one of my friend had landed a specimen Near Mangalore last year,

thought it was Channa . Micropeltes

I might be wrong :(

check this

http://www.indianangler.com/viewtopic.p ... iplogramma

looking at the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channa_diplogramma

Link
it says that
"Distribution -

Channa diplogramma is endemic to the southern Western Ghats of peninsular India. It is known from the Rivers (including its principal reservoirs) Meenachil, Manimala, Pampa, Achenkovil and Kallada in Kerala state, as well as the Chittar and Tambraparini Rivers (and its reservoirs) in Tamil Nadu state in India.'

However my friend had his luck above Mangalore ,
that means the its distribution area is still not defined...
