hi guys,

caught this mulley weighed 6.5 kgs on the same spoon used before for mahseer with size 2 treble hooks on butibori river which is 25 kms away from my home.It gave a nice 10 mins fight by which i was amazed to find the power of this fish in river. well this is my first river fish and i am not at all good in using techniques in flowing water.

Once again, a very impressive catch. :D

Your passion for this sport is amazing. Keep on doing it and wish you many more great catches.

Just one small advice, invest in a lip holder for handling these catches and it will help you a lot.

Regards,

Ali.

thanks guys to all of you!!!!!!!!

@ el gringo ........it's a technique which I learned from some of experienced angler mate...we hold the fish through it's gill without touching the inside portion of mouth where the teeth is located... but it's dangerous

@ ali bhai ........ thanks:D .....ur advice is precious will arrange a lip holder soon. coming there in september

tight lines
Manish

Thanks Apoo, Dezz, Saiki and Rakesh :-) :-)

Dezz ...Villagers at the place where i fish think that i do some type of magic...they keep asking the same thing but angling is according to me 70% Luck and 30 % hard work and experience.

Manish :-) :-)

@Manish, was this mulley caught on lures?
Can I count on plugs for mulleys?

Thanks Bops and michealega :D :D

@Fishbuster........this mulley was caught on a spoon. In my region plugs did not work very well for mulley.
