Hello Forum
as I said in my introduction, I'll visit India during september and I wanted to take some time to go fishing. I'll be staying in Pune. Is that a good time to go after murrel? are there any places near the city to try my luck with that or any other fishes?
thanks in advance for all your answers

Hi,

Welcome to Pune. Sadly due to the rains, catching Murrels has become quite difficult. Most of the time,Murrel fishing happens in summer when the water sources (Lakes /ponds) dry up & become small. The big Murrels hang around their babies & are easier to target.
After the rains, the amount of food in the water increases drastically & the Murrels get spread out. Catching one becomes very difficult.
Regards
Cavalier
