I am Santosh. Staying in Bangalore. I am natively from the coast of Mangalore. I am a newbie and looking to learn from this forum. . My fishing knowledge is mostly theoretical, mainly seen line casting by hand (no rods) and have been lucky a few times when I was quite young. Now I am looking to learn from you all and try out bait casting in sea and river. Look forward to get some insights on how to learn, equipments and please let me know if anyone wants to take me as a student :)

Hi druridge,

I plan to go to my native which is near Mangalore, where I have rivers & sea. I prefer to try on the sea. Let me know your advise please.

Also since I am in Bangalore, I would like to goto places near Bangalore as well, and am looking for people who go out fishing near Bangalore if any locations, will be great if we can accompany them and get some good learning.
