Nice picture of the MJ. Are those Volcanic rocks..
Those rocks look like it has a lot of ferrous in it, but have no idea if they are volcanic.
Good to see your report with beautiful pictures.
Top notch equipment there.... St. Croix rod and is that a Shimano Calcutta reel?
It seems the dominant lure colours for fishing in India are the redhead and firetiger.
I prefer chrome with black back and the redhead though.
The grouper in the pic was caught on a silver/black back lure.
Haven't fished the fire tiger much, I think it is great for small lures.
Also, plain white is good. So is dark purple with black back when it gets dark....
That is a Shimano Catcutta 200GTB reel. Wish it came with a non disengaging level wind though. It is a nice setup for light lures/small fish. I have a G-Loomis Pro Blue PBR843C rod paired with a Shimano Calcutta 300 TE reel that I love for fishing from the west coast rocks. Hoping to catch some fish next time on those squidgies
Nice terrain. cool pictures. Must have been warm out there this time of the year?
Thanks a lot Jeen!
It was better than Bangalore for this time of year
