Angling will always be an never ending learning exprience for me, some are good while some were bad. And I dont have much funny or loony phrases or words to make this post spicy but in plain words can just express that It's always fun to hook a fish and play him out. And never would want to miss an oppurtunity to be out spinning for the damm barras.

Here are some of the fishes that i hooked. Hope that next year comes with hope of learning more .

Thanks Dr.Prasad.Yes that trip was also memorable not only MP but also toured the state of UP, Rajasthan and Gujarath.

Had one tough exprience form a tough fish ,couldnt tell what it was but , my rod was bent, line screaching from my reel and the strike was so strong that even my reel handle got unscrewed and loose. At first i thought the line was wraped around the tip of the rod because of the sreachy feeling while the line was running out of the reel. But a few moments later realised that the fish was running it between the rocks and then cut me off. From expriences of all the other fishes fought every fish had responded to the tip of my rod, never had the trouble of getting a fish away from snags but this particular fish was not ready to change its direction , I presume it may have been hooked earlier also and got away in the same manner.Lost a nice hamma lure to it with a couple yards of bruised up braid.

Well done Mario,

You are the quiet achiever (what we call a shuppa rostam in Hindi)!

Best of luck in 2012.

Thanks Ali bahi for the kind words . And about the dream barra no matter how much one denies but still every angler has a longing for the monster fight. Pics..... pics....... for me they dont intrest me much at least did'nt like the pics which even i posted not sporting enough even you know how much i hate taking pics at home. But realy missed good opportunities of getting good pics of the fishes i fought from your machan. Thanks a lot for letting me fight the fishes you hooked. The exprience at Powai very infomative specialy the way you tuned my fish fighting skills has always helped me to tier the fish very quickly and still not get them dehooked on their tail dances. There will always be endless stories about Powai a very magical and beautifull place.

Thanks Spoon angler and Sandip ghosh .@ Sandip nice to see you angleing seriously while some still snoop around insted of spinnig.
