First of all happy Easter to you all....

Today me and my better half decided to inaugurate our New Daiwa Crosscast-S 5000LD Spinning Reel with our first ever Murrel hunt.. We started at around 5.30am and reached the spot at 6.00am. Started casting with an artificial frog and on my 6th cast got a huge strike and I have stunned by feeling the real power of the fish on a very light rod meant for a 12lb line... :shock:

Finally we landed our first ever Snake Head.... :-) :-) A really happy Easter... and hope our new reel will bring some more good news in future...

Thanks to Col Sab, Omesh and Maruthu for their valuable advice and motivation...
