Today is a sad day indeed. Ali Hussaini fondly called Ali bhai passed away today from a massive heart attack while fishing.

Ali was one of IA's largest contributors during the forums early days and was also a moderator on IA.

A kind and gentle human being and an exceptional angler, Ali bhai will be missed.

Rest in peace Ali bhai, your contributions to us anglers will stay with us forever.

I thought I would post this here, one Ali posted some time ago in 2010:

I was just a toddler when I picked up my first rod (A basic bamboo affair) and since then there was no looking back. During my life time of fishing and specially after joining IA, I have met many individuals who are equally driven by the desire to land the fish of their dream. Although all the other anglers I have met have the same goal but every one’s approach to fishing is different. I am floating this poll in hope to understand how the majority of us see this fabulous activity. Any insight beside the poll option will be most welcomed.

Regards,

Ali.
