caught my first rawas trolling, it was 7kg, i was using finnor lethal lt 100 spinning reel, pionner tuna jigging rod 30 to 50 lb.
for some reason this guy did not fight.

Congrats on your first of many Rawas!

I've caught them up to 5 kilos and they put up a pretty good fight.

I think your treble hook might have locked it's jaw not allowing the fish to breathe.
Or, like kingfish said you were using heavy tackle for the fish that you were catching :-)

Actually it took the entire lure in its mouth 15 feet rapala diver, I do have a video of the entire fight I'll try and upload later

Congrats nice fish, Ravas are one of the strongest fighting fish, but for some reason, some times they fight like a rag, don't really know why, may be those ones want to commit suicide :).

Nice video.

I find it very hard to cast lures in a canopied boat or to play a fish if it runs from one side to the other, as the posts get in the way.
