Familiar waters and familiar guide!

Your video captures the thrill of setting out for a day of fishing and it was nice to show a close up of the equipment used ( BG 4000 reel and a fleeting glimpse of the metal lures).

Would have been nice to see the anglers in the action also. Good effort.

Kingfish

P.S. No feedback on the Squidgy plastics ?? Or the BG 4000 ?

@Kingfish am yet to get a bite on squidgy but the daiwa bg is a decent reel to use and can really hold the fish from pulling line performs very good if you are targeting fish not exceeding more than 4kg if you need to stop them from breaking your line in the rocks , but this reel can land big fish too.

@RaMpEr

Thanks for the feedback, the Squidgy result is surprising as other anglers have had a positive experience with it.

I agree with you that the BG4000 seems to be the best bang for the buck. Do you find the clicker to be too quiet when line is pulled from the spool ? This is about the only complaint I have against this
reel.

This is really a drawback only while trolling, as there is no warning when a fish is on if you are not
looking at your rod or listening to the line being pulled against the drag. If spinning, one knows when
a fish is hooked, of course.

Regards,
Kingfish
