hi

has anyone caught a tripletail fish ? i have seen a lot of this in local fish market in goa, but personally never caught it or seen any one else catch.
any information will be helpful.

Caught a fish about 25 years ago on a live shrimp from a bridge pillar in cochin. Have seen a few fish caught by local fishermen using live shrimp around a bridge also in cochin last year. They were in canoes around the bridge pillar, using palm rods, bobing the shrimp up and down.

seen some videos of youtube, it has same fighting style like barramundi, and gill plates are just as sharp.
fighting this fish looks quiet fun, as they are unpredictable.
it looks more like dwarf barramundi, must be same family
